Description Changhua Mt. Bagua’s Great Buddha is seated cross-legged above a lotus-shaped base that measures 16 meters in diameter and 4 meters in height. The entire statue is made of reinforced concrete. The Great Buddha is approx. 22 meters in height (including the lotus-shaped base) and the base is roughly 694 square meters in area. It has been 61 years since its completion. The Buddha's body has many cracks and damages and needs to be repaired. In order to overcome the uneven structure of the Buddha body, Sucoot’s facade scaffolding is adopted in this restoration project. Its features are easy assembly and disassembly with high safety and good stability. Also, it can be designed according to the shape change.
